John 14; 5-7
5Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going; so how can we know the way to get there?”
6 Jesus answered him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one goes to the Father except by me. 7Now that you have known me,” he said to them, “you will know my Father also, and from now on you do know him and you have seen him.”
6 Jesus answered him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one goes to the Father except by me. 7Now that you have known me,” he said to them, “you will know my Father also, and from now on you do know him and you have seen him.”

Luke 20: 1-4
1One day when Jesus was in the Temple teaching the people and preaching the Good News, the chief priests and the teachers of the Law, together with the elders, came 2and said to him, “Tell us, what right do you have to do these things? Who gave you such right?”
3Jesus answered them, “Now let me ask you a question. Tell me, 4did John's right to baptize come from God or from human beings?”

Matthew 24: 36-44
6“No one knows, however, when that day and hour will come—neither the angels in heaven nor the Son; the Father alone knows. 37 The coming of the Son of Man will be like what happened in the time of Noah. 38In the days before the flood people ate and drank, men and women married, up to the very day Noah went into the boat; 39 yet they did not realize what was happening until the flood came and swept them all away. That is how it will be when the Son of Man comes. 40At that time two men will be working in a field: one will be taken away, the other will be left behind. 41Two women will be at a mill grinding meal: one will be taken away, the other will be left behind. 42Watch out, then, because you do not know what day your Lord will come. 43 If the owner of a house knew the time when the thief would come, you can be sure that he would stay awake and not let the thief break into his house. 44So then, you also must always be ready,
Morning Prayer
Dear God, Teach us to always do our best to continually prepare for your son Jesus’s coming. Nobody knows the hour or day your son Jesus will come back for us. Oh merciful and loving God, we will worship and honor you all the days of our lives. Lord, please help us to see that if we haven’t been continually preparing for the day your son returns to the earth that we will get left behind. Please teach us the things we need to do , so we can return to you and your son when he comes back for us. We give all honor and glory to your name. In Jesus’s name we pray, Amen.

Matthew 16:13-16
Jesus went to the territory near the town of Caesarea Philippi, where he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”
14 “Some say John the Baptist,” they answered. “Others say Elijah, while others say Jeremiah or some other prophet.”
15“What about you?” he asked them. “Who do you say I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

Luke 6 :43-45
3“A healthy tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a poor tree bear good fruit. 44 Every tree is known by the fruit it bears; you do not pick figs from thorn bushes or gather grapes from bramble bushes. 45 A good person brings good out of the treasure of good things in his heart; a bad person brings bad out of his treasure of bad things. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
Morning Prayer
Dear God, We come to you asking you to help us be the tree that bears good fruit. Lord, help us to be the tree that bears good fruit. Lord, help us to be faithful in our walk with you, and to honor and glorify your holy name in all things. In Jesus’s name we pray , Amen
